Welcome to GetSimple!
This is the Pixelita Designs sandbox for the new CMS, GetSimple. Here, we want to try various themes and create some pages so we can see exactly how GetSimple works. It's not a full-blown CMS, but then, it's not supposed to be. It's for people who just need a few pages. It's perfect for solo lawyers, consultants and anyone who just needs a 2-3 page web site without all the bells and whistles of a CMS.
We will be busy creating a couple of web design packages geared solely to the use of GetSimple and the small business professional web site or brochure site. Get Simple isn't for everyone. For example, if you plan to blog, or have the need for more than a handful of pages, GetSimple isn't for you. If you have the need for multiple users/admins, GetSimple is not for you. But if you just need a small web site that you can update yourself, as often as you wish, without the need for fancy web hosting requirements (remember, GetSimple NEEDS NO DATABASE!), then you may find it's just right for your needs.
The best thing about GetSimple, in our opinion, is that due to the fact that there's no need for a database, setup is a breeze. Of course, it doesn't hurt that GetSimple was created by Chris Cagle, who is a master at making WordPress jump through hoops. So we know that GetSimple will have the secure coding and attention to detail that is important, especially to someone who isn't well versed in PHP, CSS or HTML. You don't really need to know all that to set up and maintain a GetSimple web site!
To sum up GetSimple:
It just doesn't get any easier than this!
